A Care Bag is a simple yet powerful gesture to children going into care. It lets them know they matter.  

Put together a Care Bag yourself or get together with some friends to pool your cash and build one together. 

We have set strict guidelines for what goes in each Care Bag. Use our easy to follow guide below on how to build a Care Bag. Please do not mix sizes or seasons.

Our Care Bags are targeted at children up to about 12 years old. We do provide sizes up to 16 to cater for those children who grow early. When building a Care Bag, please try to make all items size/age appropriate. 

Generally an 8 year old wears a size 8 so please aim to include books, activities and other items targeted at that age or close to.

 Contents in size 12, 14 & 16 Care Bags should be targeted to a 12 year old.

For many reasons some young people in care experience periods of transiency. For this reason, we have developed our Transient Teenager Toiletry Bags  or 'TTT' Bags. 

The TTT Bags provide essential items needed to maintain personal hygiene and at the same time promote a sense of self-worth and self-esteem. 

We have set strict guidelines for what goes in each TTT Bag. Use our easy to follow guide below on how to build a TTT Bag. 

Please do not include razors or aerosols.
